Good way to end 2017 by climbing Groot Wellington from the MCSA property on the Slanghoek Saddle. Beautiful range of flowers in bloom.

Assegaaiboskloof Trail

Bivouac trip up to Berg Valley to hike up to the Jonkershoek Watershed. Tough day 19km with about 1,700m of total ascent. Last part of trail up to the pass very tough going as the path was overgrown, and prickly! However, an ambition achieved and a very satisfying day.

Camping trip to climb Slanghoek Peak. Spring flowers in profusion after the recent rains. Splendid views across to the Worcester valley.
